The raven black of night cloaked with omens of oblivion, why do we judge,
It protected energy in a vessel of skin.
The entities that take the light of the innocent, the raven makes its descent,
Reveals himself to repent the sin.
The eye of the bird, onyx, as it casts the shadow on souls that need to be consumed,
To protect the fallen from the grim.
Alas the bird reveals his angel, tearing away the wings to present to the falling,
A gift to help them protect and fly on a whim.
