Allegory of the cave, a theory from Plato, to me it’s factual, my reasoning,
The proof showers us, as soon as we leave.
Real sun light burns the iris, the light of TV reddens them, burns within.
Grit your teeth, don’t go back inside, the eyes adjust eventually.
The puppet shadows of today, imprinted on our visual cortex, stain like bleach.
Brexit, virus, racism and, divide, divide, divide.
Beautiful people, chained to the wall, I see the puppeteer coming, history repeats itself.
They’re coming with recycled puppets, war, war, war.
The shackles to the brick wall of pink Floyd are very loose, stand up turn away.
Walk the steps. Only this way it will fall.
If you’re comfortable in the gloom of the cave, be mindful of those who chose to leave.
Is that possible? Maybe it’s an egocentric puppet, we’ve already been shown.
Over and over and over and over again!
